After months of speculations, The Toy Association has officially announced plans for a leadership transition set to begin next year.

The winds of change are sweeping through The Toy Association.

Steve Pasierb, President and CEO of The Toy Association, will be leaving the organization after his contract expires in April. To oversee the transition, Andy Keimach, former President of VTech North America, will step into the role of Interim President in the coming months. A Transition Committee has been formed to actively search for a suitable candidate to fill the vacant chief executive position.

The Toy Association’s Board of Directors has enlisted the services of leadership advisory firm Spencer Stuart to facilitate the search for a new chief executive.

“It has been a distinct honor and privilege to serve in the role of President and CEO of The Toy Association and I count myself fortunate to be among those over the past 107 years to hold this position. It has been a wonderful journey of strategic actions, change management, legislative wins, and accomplishments working alongside our dedicated board, more than 1,000 members, and a passionate and talented professional team. I look forward to collaborating with the executive committee and our staff to make certain of a smooth and effective transition over the coming months.” -Steve Pasierb, President & CEO, The Toy Association

In a statement from The Toy Association, it was revealed that Keimach will be shouldering “bicoastal responsibilities” in Los Angeles and New York. As part of this transition, Keimach will step down from the Board of Directors, where he previously served on the Executive Committee as Treasurer. Aaron Muderick, the Board Chairperson, will assume Keimach’s role on the Executive Committee.
